Location and how to get here

Haukali333 is located by Lake Haukalivatnet in Rogaland, surrounded by mountains, forest and water. The nature is wild and beautiful, and you are in rural surroundings – yet still close to some of Norway’s most famous natural attractions:

By car it takes roughly 7–50 minutes to reach most of these destinations, depending on where you are going. Stavanger Airport, Sola is about 63 km away, around a 55-minute drive, and Stavanger city centre is approximately 50 minutes away.

If you simply want to take it easy, we recommend at least one day where you stay on the farm, make use of the nature around us, go fishing, swim, and get a sense of what life might have been like in 1850.

Outdoor bathtub – slow luxury with a view

A warm bath under the open sky is perhaps the most luxurious experience at Haukali333 – precisely because it doesn’t come by itself. The water has to be fetched, carried and heated over time. Preparing the bathtub is a small all-day project that brings calm to the body and a deep respect for the work behind everyday luxuries 150 years ago.

When the water is finally warm, you can sink into the tub, feel the heat in your body and look out over the wild, beautiful nature around Lake Haukalivatnet. The silence, the view and the slow process leading up to the bath make the experience truly special.

  • The possibility to fish with nets and rods (where permitted)
  • Access to hiking trails directly from the farm
  • 2 bicycles available for guests

You are surrounded by untouched nature, silence and solitude in the best possible way – perfect for a few days of slow living.
